Not Just Any Room, MKTRHUB 2025 | The Jasmine Duo’s Vision to Impact
On April 18, 2025, I attended MKTRHUB!
Talk about intentional. Empowerment. Confident. Community. Humble. There are so many words I could use to describe the effort and passion displayed in the MKTRHUB event, created by Black Women Marketers (BWM), a community organization to provide Black Women in the marketing industry with resources, community, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
Co-founders Jasmine Miller and Jasmine Gibson opened new doors for black women in the intersections of marketing, creative, communication industries, and more. MKTRHUB 2025 was a testimony to their resilience and vision. From developing a friendship on Clubhouse to business partners, Gibson and Miller reflect generosity through their overflowing cup.
Black Women Marketers was created for women to step into their full potential, surrounded by like-minded women who can encourage, teach, and offer the next girl the tools needed to succeed. Connections are made, friendships are built, and growth is exceeding expectations. Miller speaks on “confidence” being her biggest lesson in building the BWM community, while Gibson expresses her gratitude, saying, “This is the fruit of it,” the community she’s built and nurtured for five years.
MKTRHUB 2025
The atmosphere of MKTRHUB was magnetic and positively reflected from every person who stepped foot in the room. From every breakout room panel and conversation, to the vendors, to your MKTRHUB bestie you met in line, the opportunities were endless. It wasn’t just a day to meet people in your industry, but to leave with a call to action on what you’ll do with the momentum. What you’ll do with the idea you’ve been sitting on and haven’t executed. What you’ll do with the new confidence you gained because you left fear outside the door before you walked in.
It was so diverse that no matter what industry you’re in or if you're in the middle of a career pivot, you could find someone who understands your path or has walked it before. Whether it was a breakout session or a new connection, there was room for everyone to feel seen and supported. The powerful, big-picture messages came through loud and clear from the founders and keynote speakers like Cristina Jerome and Briana Holmes. But it was in the breakout rooms where the smaller, intentional moments left just as much of an impact. I was able to ask some attendees a few questions, interview the Jasmine duo, and gain perspectives that reaffirm why spaces like this matter.
Her Gifted Gab says…
It was an honor to be granted access to MKTRHUB 2025, bringing my storytelling and conversations to build, reflect, and bring the experience back to my platform to tell it all. Weeks ago, from the time I joined the BWM group chat, I was welcomed, accepted, and felt excited. Although I haven’t been around for too long, being at MKTRHUB and speaking with Jasmine Miller and Jasmine Gibson felt full circle. Look at the ladies who built a platform and encouraged me to find my people in the chat are keeping that same genuine energy, allowing me to bring my passion for media to their event. I’m truly still amazed but not at all surprised by the turnout and unwavering support they received. I’m already imagining MKTRHUB 2026 and can’t wait to be at the forefront again another year, because if it’s this good now, and I’m telling this to everyone reading, you might want to get with the program because it’s only going to get better!
